Jakub Podlesak
|
Jakub Podlesak works as a software engineer at SUN's Prague site. He works at project Jersey, a production quality reference implementation of JAX-RS API (RESTful web services in Java). Previously, he participated in development of Metro project, the GlassFish V2 web services stack, as a member of the WS-Policy team. Jakub is also a co-lead of Czech Java User Group.

Jersey is the open source, production quality, JAX-RS (JSR 311)
Reference Implementation for building RESTful Web services.
This session will give an overview of Jersey and JAX-RS.
At the end of the presentation developers will have a
better understanding of how to build their own RESTful Web services using
Java. Several live coding demonstrations will be given as part of the presetation to show practical usage of the Jersey framework.
